St Ninian's Minister
Rev. Kleber Machado joined us in November 2012 from Scotland. He is Brazilian by origin and very well travelled, Klebler and his family spent a period of time in Holland before coming to this country. He has a wife and 3 children who have all settled in well to life in Corby.
St Ninians is governed by its Church Elders and the Congregational Board which meet regularly. Ben Bruce is our Session Clerk. A warm welcome awaits you in our Church.
The small hall is used by the children in Sunday school. This is led by Janice and Marion. Each Sunday there is a special section in our service for the children before they leave to go into the small hall where they have fun and games mixed with spiritual teachings and guidance. The children of any visitors to the Church are very welcome to attend.
Every Sunday our music group lead the service with a beautiful stand alone musical arrangement. They also lead the hymns throughout the service, accompanied by music on the piano or organ. They are always on the look out for new singers - why not come along and join them? For futher information see the notice on the Vacancies Page.
St Ninian's has a vibrant Congregation who take part in the active social life of the Church; we have a full calendar of different events throughout the year. New members and visitors are always welcome. We are proud to be a Fair Trade church. Two members of our Congregation are also fully trained and active Street Pastors which is an excellent Corby wide initiative.
This is a modern style Church which was erected in 1967 to seat 450 people. Within the Church complex there is a large hall (with a stage) the capacity of the hall is 150. The small hall is perfect for smaller gatherings and is regularly used by the Sunday school. Kitchen facilities are available and refreshments are served in the large hall after the main Sunday service. Toilets and disabled facilities are also provided.
There is a large car park to the rear of the building and overflow parking is available at the nearby shopping precinct on Farmstead Road.
Each week our call to worship begins with the ringing of the Church bells - listen out for them when you are in the area!
All of the above mentioned facilities are available for hire by the general public, visit our Contact Us page for more details.
On this website you will see many photographs of the facilities and be able to read about the brilliant work that many different people do in association with St Ninians Church.
